Project overview

The Web Renewal Initiative (WRI) was initiated to consolidate social media account management and both active and archived web content from over 90 government institutions to a client-centric, single website (Canada.ca) delivered on an outsourced cloud based Managed Web Service (MWS).

MiCore & AEM toolkit

Oproma was tasked with developing an end-to-end solution for the content discovery, assessment, transformation and migration part of the Web Renewal Initiative.

Using MiCore, Oproma developed a reusable blueprint which consists of our best practices, software toolkit, methodology and integrated working teams. These elements were key in the successfully delivery of an accelerated automation solution.

MiCore and the AEM Toolkit was used for over 90% of all pages and assets transformed and migrated to Adobe Experience Manager. MiCore was also used in the collection and migration of all Proactive Disclosure information to the GoC Open Data platform.
