Project overview
Oproma has been providing secure file and assets sharing solutions to the Government of Canada (GoC) departments since 2001. The secured online collaboration platform, formerly known as OPROMA System and later CentralCollab, was first piloted by Ottawa International Airport, Global Affairs Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada.
The solution proved successful, met expectations and was able to comply with federal agencies standards regarding protection and processing of sensitive information. Global Affairs Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada have therefore continued using the solution in addition to several other GoC departments. The secure cloud solution has evolved with new features and functionalities and is now known as PriviDox.
Several thousand users of Oproma’s Secure File Share are now spread across more than eighty (80) GoC departments, agencies and crown corporations. More than nine hundred and fifty (950) non-GoC organizations and businesses across Canada and around the world share and collaborate through Oproma’s secure cloud-based solution.
